Grand Tetons

We also went through the Grand Tetons on our way home.

Buffalo, bufallo, and suprise suprise, more buffalo

Buffalo really are interesting creatures. They do the funniest things, and makes the strangest sounds. On our trip we saw TONS f these big guys. We even got stuck in a traffic jam as several decided to meander back and forth on a bridge we were crossing. They were fun to watch though.

The not so shy coyote

We stopped at a pull-out on the side of the road and made sandwiches... as we did, this coyote walked right up to us- about 7 feet away and then went around the car and crossed the road.

A great vacation

So we were discussing what to do if we were able to go on a vacation this summer. While doing this we reminisced about last summer's vacation. We spent part of the time in Utah with family and part of the time at Yellowstone National Park. It was a great trip- aside from the car issue on the way home. The weather was perfect, the sights were great. We got to see a grizzly bear chasing elk- it was quite funny as it was a baby and the elk were not taking him seriously. The bison were everywhere. It was great- we highly recommend visiting there.
